Pinnacle Mountain Spring Family Hike Day

Pinnacle Mountain State Park hosts its annual Spring Hike Day on Easter weekend, when the wildflowers are at peak bloom along the trail systems. Park naturalists lead guided wildflower walks on the easy West Summit Trail throughout the morning, and the visitor center opens Junior Ranger programming for ages 4–12 from 10 AM to 3 PM. The West Summit Trail (easy, 1.5 miles) and East Summit Trail (moderate, more challenging with scrambling near the top) are both accessible. On a clear April day, the summit view extends 40+ miles across the Arkansas River Valley. Free admission; bring water and sun protection.
